It is a high-quality substitute for steel strips. It has strong tensile strength, with an elongation rate of only 3%~5%. After bundling, it is not easy to loosen and can maintain a tight state for a long time; Resistant to high and low temperatures, moisture-proof and rust proof, with smooth edges without burrs, and will not scratch the goods. PET strapping can be manually connected with buckles and is also compatible with strapping machines. How to distinguish between PP strapping band and PET strapping band?

1.Touch

PP strapping:Soft to the touch, good toughness, and not easily broken when bent.

PET strapping:Hard to handle and strong rigidity; Brighter luster.

2.Tensile test

PP strapping:When stretched, it can stretch a lot, and when released, it can rebound with high elongation.

PET strapping:It is difficult to elongate, with minimal deformation and an elongation rate of only 3% -5%. When it reaches its limit, it fractures directly and has almost no rebound.

3.Combustion identification

PP strapping:Ignite, the flame is yellow at the top and blue at the bottom; When burning, there is a wax smell, melting droplets, and the droplets can be brushed; Leave the fire and continue to burn.

PET strapping:Ignite, flame yellow; Burning has a sweet aroma/burnt plastic smell, and after burning, it will become hard and clumped, making it difficult to draw; Leaving the fire is easy to extinguish.
