Several common joint methods for packing straps

There are generally three types of packaging straps interfaces: ligature packaging, hot melt overlap packaging, and iron buckle packaging.

1.Ligation packaging.

Ligation type packaging is a joint method that uses soft plastic ropes, hemp ropes, etc. as binding materials, and ties them into a flexible knot at the joint of the packaging belt. This type of joint is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, and easy to undo.

2.Hot melt overlap packaging.

Hot melt overlap packaging uses heating methods such as electric heating fusion, mechanical high-frequency oscillation fusion, and ultrasonic fusion. The surface of the plastic strap is melted by heating, and the melted surfaces of the two straps ends are overlapped under a certain pressure for a certain period of time. After the melted surfaces condense, the plastic strap joints are bonded together.

Features: Hot melt overlap packaging is the latest packaging method, suitable for polypropylene plastic band, because if polypropylene plastic band is mechanically fixed with iron buckles, its strength is only 50% of the base material, and adhesive connection is not suitable. The excuse is firm and beautiful, but cannot be undone.

3.Iron buckle packaging.

First, use the one-way operation of the tensioner ratchet to tighten the packing belt. Then, place an iron buckle at the joint of the packing belt, and use a clamp to wrap the two layers of packing belt with the iron buckle. Bite the concave and convex teeth on the side of the iron buckle to prevent the packing belt from loosening. Iron buckles are usually made of galvanized iron sheet, and the appropriate size of iron buckle should be selected according to the packing belt model during operation.
